Belt Sort: privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

In short: we don't collect any personal information ourselves, and there are no accounts. Your game progress stays on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device data to show and measure ads, and you can buy a one-off "Remove ads" upgrade through Google Play.

Who we are

Belt Sort is made by Machine Quotient Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17444151), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

What the game stores

The game saves your progress (levels completed, stars, coins and boosters) and your settings (music, sound and vibration). These are saved only in the game's private storage on your device. We never receive them, and they are deleted when you uninstall the game.

Advertising

The game shows ads using Google AdMob, provided by Google. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Ad privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings.

Learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and read Google's privacy policy.

In-app purchase

If you buy "Remove ads", the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. Google tells the game only that the purchase was made, so it can remove ads and restore the purchase if you reinstall.

Permissions

The game uses the internet only for ads and purchases, and may use vibration for haptic feedback. It does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, files or precise location.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Legal basis (UK GDPR and EU GDPR)

Where personal data is processed for advertising, this is based on your consent (for personalised ads) or legitimate interests (for non-personalised ads, measurement and fraud prevention). Google acts as an independent controller for the data it processes through AdMob.

Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. As we don't hold personal data about you, most requests are best directed to Google through the links above, but you are welcome to contact us. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
